    • For a number of years.
    • A one-off donation.
    • In perpetuity.
  • Donations to UCSI University Trust can be in the form of:
    • Cash.
    • Properties.

History of the Trust

The UCSI University Trust or Yayasan Universiti UCSI was established on 21 October 2008, the brainchild of the Board of Trustees and key personnel of UCSI University. The members of the Board of Trustees comprising Dato’ Peter T. S. Ng, Founder of UCSI University and Chairman of UCSI Group and Professor Datuk Ts Ir Dr Siti Hamisah Binti Tapsir, Vice-Chancellor of UCSI University and CEO of UCSI Group.

Vision

We are a University Trust to continue in perpetuity the founder’s wish and legacy to provide and sustain quality education and research for present and future generations of students and researchers regardless of ethnicity, gender and belief.

Mission

Our mission is to raise and make available scholarships, financial assistance and grants to deserving students and researchers for their academic and research pursuits as well as community projects which aim at advancing society.

Objectives

The Trust has the following objectives:

Main Objectives

    • To receive and administer funds for education, research and development.
    • To enhance the living conditions of needy individuals and communities in Malaysia, irrespective of race, religion and creed.
    • To provide educational opportunities for deserving individuals at the University or elsewhere.
    • To provide financial assistance to any other charitable causes as approved by the Trustees.

Secondary Objectives

    • To establish, maintain and administer scholarship funds.
    • To award scholarships, bursaries or maintenance allowance to needy and deserving pre-university students, undergraduates or postgraduate students as determined by the Trustees.
    • To provide financial assistance, educational and training materials for needy and deserving school-leavers to prepare them for their entry into the workforce, as well as to universities or any other educational establishments.
    • To promote research for public benefit in the fields of science, medicine, arts and humanities, and engineering.
    • To educate the public through public lectures, conferences, seminars, trainings and other educational activities.
    • To establish and maintain libraries, museums, art galleries, concert halls or other institutions or facilities for the advancement of art, music, culture and the preservation and exhibition of historical, scientific and artistic achievements.
